What a day that began with a beautiful ceremony at Caversham House continued and finished with a bang with a massive Turkish dance bonanza at the ballrooms of Crown Perth. Congratulations to this lovely couple! May your lives be filled with many more colourful memories and awsome dancing!

How did you two meet?

[su_spacer]Nasir & I meet through his sister (whom was my friend); Sarinah.
[su_spacer]She strategically planned a motor bike ride on the weekend and upon arrival to pick me up she advised she didn’t have a passenger seat on her bike and asked if it was okay if I were to ride with her brother or other friends. At the time I didn’t think anything of it, and I agreed. I didn’t see his face yet!
[su_spacer]Being the first time on a motorbike I gripped onto him and held on for dear life! We had a wonderful day out riding, and we stopped out near Cottesloe for lunch near the beach.
[su_spacer]I remember that was the first time I saw his face and i remember him making me laugh.
Soon after the ride he invited me to a friends birthday dinner. (Again strategically planned by Sarinah), after that the rest was history 🙂

[su_spacer size=”40″]How did he/she propose?

[su_spacer]After a beautiful planned out day, Nasir proposed right upon the sunset in a secluded spot overlooking the sea.
It was very intimate and beautiful. With tears in his eyes he was on one knee.[su_spacer]

[su_spacer size=”40″]What was your colour palette and your style vision?

[su_spacer]Colour palette was white, silver and crystal.
[su_spacer]My style/vision was to be elegant and romantic. I wanted a white wedding and had beautiful arrangements of my favourite flowers; white orchids, peonies, and roses .
[su_spacer]Clear tiffany chairs, white linens, white dance floor, white cake and white backdrops.
[su_spacer]Accompanying these I had crystal features for tables, hanging from centrepieces, candle holders and my wedding favours were of crystal and silver.
[su_spacer]Silver mirrored name place cards to add some colour and stance – andddd of coarse a lot of candles![su_spacer]

[su_spacer size=”40″]What was your favourite moment?

[su_spacer]Too many!
[su_spacer]I must say my first dance with my husband was magical.
[su_spacer]Upon entering the room to Turkish drums (davul) we embraced the room and traditionally danced on the dance floor to the live Turkish music.
[su_spacer]Sparkulars began the moment we had entered the room and soon after the smoke machine had given us a cloud effect.
[su_spacer]After the traditional dance had ended it was time for our first slow dance. However to our surprise we received a very special gift from my sister. Sally cooper emerged from the corner of the room and approached the dance floor playing our song “All of me” by John Legened on her electric violin. My heart was beating so fast, my husband held me so close and we were so happy in that very moment. Sally cooper circled around us playing ever so beautifully, ever so gracefully. The dance floor felt as though we were on clouds.
[su_spacer]There we were, in-front of our family and friends. We wanted to stop time and hold on to this beautiful moment.[su_spacer]

[su_spacer size=”40″]Tell us about your flowers, your dress, your flavours, your cake, etc.

[su_spacer]Flowers, as mentioned, I wanted a white wedding and had beautiful arrangements of my favourite flowers; white orchids, peonies, and roses . The reception reflected these as well as my beautiful draping bouquet.
[su_spacer]My wedding cake was designed to align with the style and had special elements of lace (like my dress), pearls (like my dress), and orchards (my favourite flowers).
[su_spacer]As for my wedding dress, I was very fortunate to work with an amazing designer – Craig Braybook. I shared my ideas and my vision and Craig (bless him) designed my stunning gown. I always wanted something elegant, modest yet somewhat timeless. Months later I had a beautiful white dress adored in delicate lace and pearls. With a timeless cathedral long veil.[su_spacer]
