The Story
Their journey began in 2011 when they were working for the same company. Lisa was the boss and Christian the apprentice. Although only friends, Lisa noticed that Christian was a kind and compassionate man with good morals and a great work ethic. For Christian, he thought Lisa was a smart, hardworking and selfless redhead. Lisa ended up leaving the company, but they kept in touch through friends. In June 2016, Christian organised a catch up to hint to Lisa that he was interested in her. So she agreed to go on a date with him, and well as they say – the rest is history.
They had their first date at the Rose and Crown, and because they had known each other for so long, it was very natural, relaxed and easy going. The real test came a few months in when they went to Melbourne together and then a year after they travelled overseas to Greece and the UK. Although travelling together can be make or break, upon return, Christian told Lisa that he loved her. She replied – “Thank You”.
Their relationship went to the next level when Christian popped the big question in August 2019 at the block of land they had just purchased. Lisa turned around to find Christian on one knee, holding a ring, and asked her: “Would you do the honour in being my wife?” She gasped in excitement, she was very very surprised.
