[su_quote cite=”1 Corinthians 13:4-8;13″]Love is patient, kind, without envy; it is not boastful or arrogant, it is never rude or selfish, love overcomes anger and forgets offences, it does not take delight in wrong, but rejoices in truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. Now, these three endures – faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is Love.[/su_quote]

Lets hear from the couple:

The wedding would be an event at the St Mary Cathedral filled with the attendance of good friends and family.

Dusty pink and earth hues. Style was modern but yet embracing the traditional practices of a Catholic Church wedding.

The floating 3 Wedding Unity Candles (1. The Tay Family Candle 2. The Widodo Family Candle 3. The Couple Candle). The ballerina dancing into the church hall at the beginning of the ceremony before the Family Procession. The bigger than expected number of priests celebrating a wedding mass.

Bride: The reciting of vows when the bride cried.
Groom: The lighting of The Couple Candle up at the altar.

Our flowers consist of Baby Breath and light pink Roses as they signify everlasting love, romantism, charming and tenderness with a sense of renewal of purity. The dress dons a dusty pink colour with shimmery beads which brings out the tranquility and timeless elegant nature of the bride. The flavours of the light refreshment brings together the Singaporean and Indonesian food culture which were provided by the array of Satay. Nasi Lemak, Vegetarian Bee Hoon, Indonesian Kueh Kueh and Curry Puff.

Bride: Surprishingly memoriable!!!

Groom: A never-experienced-before wedding ceremony which had a huge attendees in a grand and traditional church like St Mary’s Cathedral, yet filled with melodious organ-piped music and a lovely tinge of entertainment and humor by the celebrating priest.

1 Month before the D day, one should finalise the preparation for food, printing of booklets, the flow of programmes, guests list, bride & groom clothings together with bridal party and groomsmen attire (if any).
